Moose is a senior, male Rottweiler who is neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccines. He is healthy and has no current health issues.

Moose is a lovely boy that soaks up all the attention he can get from his human
.

Moose likes to cuddle up on his bed with his toys and nap after a nice long walk! Moose is very good on leash, no pulling and can hang out, off leash, if in a safe environment.

Moose has free roam in his foster home and is not destructive. Food items need to be safely stored.

Moose is a happy boy, greeting visitors and will give you the rotti lean in exchange for a few scratches on his neck.

He is quiet and only barks when someone comes to the door but settles nicely.

Moose would benefit from additional socialization and obedience training to help him to bond to his new people. We believe that Moose would flourish in a home where he is the only dog. Although he is currently in foster care sharing his home with dogs, cats and children, all living harmoniously, he chooses his human and prefers their attention over that of another furry companion. Moose is friendly with most other dogs but needs slow introductions.

Moose is a 98lb, big mushy ball of love, a gentle giant who is looking for his forever home to share in his golden years. If Moose is the guy for you, please visit www.furkidsrescue.ca and fill out the adoption application.

ANML-RESQ is a dedicated group of volunteers looking out for the 4-legged creatures we share this world with. Their goal is to save a dog or cat from being euthanized in a shelter, through no fault of their own - just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they don't have a foster home available they will work with other reputable organizations to find a place.

ANML-RESQ relies solely on donations and fundraisers to spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip their pets prior to adoption.  They don't even use funds for gas to transport the pets in their program to their new homes!
